To a More Compliant Market in Brazil
The Brazilian market pays close attention to small details.
Brazil has more than 500 types of traffic regulations, and different regions have different traffic policies. If you build a factory or move your factory from São Paulo to another region in Brazil, you may face significant changes in every small detail. Each regulation may trigger new compliance risks. To better help Chinese vehicle manufacturers address these difficulties and clarify the regulatory landscape in Brazil, the ARC Group, in partnership with Shanghai Jiao Tong University, hosted a seminar in Shanghai.
As products become more intelligent, so do we.
During the seminar, ARC Group invited not only regulation experts but also leading OEMs such as MG, SAIC, and Xiaomi to help them better understand future developments in the Brazilian market.
IEST's CEO, Mr. Tian Bin, shared his personal experience dealing with a labor case involving BYD. Belle Lin, who is responsible for compliance at ARC Group, discussed regulatory changes as the auto industry becomes increasingly intelligent.
Elisa Ly and ProuL Li from ARC Testing & Certification, experts in Brazil's M1 homologation, shared project and technical details regarding M1 vehicle homologation and construction machinery homologation. Their presentation demonstrated that local laboratories are a key factor for products seeking to enter the market in a compliant manner.
